The Association

for the Study of Eastern Christian History and Culture

ASEC announces its fifth biennial conference to take place at Georgetown University, in Washington, DC on March 8-9, 2013. We are pleased to invite papers for a multi-disciplinary conference devoted to the cultures that have been influenced by forms of Christianity originating from the Eastern/Byzantine tradition.

2012 Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the OTSA will be held at St Vladimir's Seminary from 20-22 September 2012.  The Very Rev. Dr. John Behr, Dean, will be the Florovsky Lecturer for this year.  Limited housing is available at the seminary, and we will not know about that until later in the year, so plans are being made with nearby motels and/or retreat centers.  We will keep you posted.  Please mark your calendars.
